Do you want to organise a dialogue yourself, in your organisation, school, sports club or neighbourhood? Working on a problem with a neighborhood initiative, residents’ group and other partners?
Organize a dialogue (series) around a theme? In this workshop you learn what this involves and how you design, shape and realize your own series of (neighborhood) dialogues based on the appreciative enquiry methodology used by Utrecht in Dialogue! This training is open to anyone, whether part of an organisation or not, and feel free to bring your friends and colleagues!

Who is this workshop for?

Do you want to organize a dialogue, but haven’t done so before? Or would you like to design and shape a dialogue (series) with others? In this workshop you will work together with the appreciative design and shaping of dialogues. Together you can develop an interesting theme, more powerful program, and ensure more diversity at the table to facilitate a richer dialogue. We get to know each other’s dreams, talents, and can create a valuable dialogue (series) for participants.

Learn from each other

We reflect on practical experiences, what our goals are, what is needed to make dialogues a success, as well as themes and questions that play a role. The workshop is built according to the principles of the appreciative approach: from exploring and sharing, to imagining, shaping and realising. We learn from positive experiences and use the power of our dreams to move forward. We explore ideals, possible themes and goals, share beautiful experiences to come to a unified vision. We will design the structure of the dialogue, and learn about the process of organising and conducting a successful dialogue.
