DESCRIPTION:Luisteren is fundamenteel om je in je leven te kunnen ontwikkelen in contact met jezelf\, anderen en de wereld. Luisteren is de basis voor dialoog\, de sleutel tot verbinding\, begrip voor elkaar en samenwerking. Wil je beter leren luisteren? In deze workshop verdiepen we ons in verschillende manieren van luisteren\, naar onszelf\, anderen\, de wereld en het geheel. Meld je ook aan! \nLuisteren kun je leren\nLuisteren kun je leren\, door er aandacht aan te besteden. Door met aandacht en op gelijkwaardige basis te luisteren ontdek je wat jij en degene met wie je in gesprek bent bezig houdt en nodig heeft. De uitnodiging is om nu al te starten met luisteren en observeren hoe anderen luisteren in (online) dialogen. Als je gaat luisteren ontdek je de waarde ervan.  \n \nDialoog begint met luisteren\nEen dialoog is een instrument waarin we door naar elkaar te luisteren\, door ervaringen en dromen te delen\, door acties te formuleren\, elkaar behulpzaam zijn in die ontwikkeling. In deze workshop onderzoeken we wat jouw luistergewoonten zijn en hoe je die zou kunnen verbeteren. We luisteren naar onszelf\, naar anderen\, het samenspel en geheel vanuit verschillende rollen. Zo ontdekken we wat echt luisteren jou en degene met wie je in gesprek bent oplevert\, op welke niveaus je luistert en welke factoren van invloed kunnen zijn op jouw luisterend vermogen en dus op jouw kwaliteit als dialoogbegeleider of in andere situaties waarin luisteren helpt. De workshop is gebaseerd op de principes van de waarderende dialoog. We leren vooral door met elkaar oefenen en reflecteren op ervaringen! \nKosten\n  \nGratis voor actief betrokken bewoners\, vrijwilligers\, studenten\, met U-Pas en partners van Utrecht in Dialoog. 150 euro voor deelnemers vanuit bedrijven en organisaties. 50 euro voor deelnemers vanuit andere dialooginitiatieven. SUMMARY:Training to facilitate a dialogue
DESCRIPTION:This training is aimed at people who have attended at least three dialogues\, and who would like to learn to facilitate a dialogue. Ever wonder how you can encourage an engaging conversation about sensitive topics? How you can ask the right questions\, and provide a structure that allows others to open their hearts? You will learn it during this training! To sign up\, click the red button above.  \n \nThe purpose of facilitating a dialogue is to stimulate thinking\, growth\, and change that lead to action. The more you practice being curious and asking questions with an open heart\, the more you will get positive results from your conversations with others. \nThe training\nWe invite you to take part in this English-language training session\, where you will practice facilitating a dialogue and learn about our guiding principles. During the training\, you will get to know what an engaging dialogue is\, and how it is structured. A dialogue follows four steps: 1) getting acquainted 2) sharing and exchanging one’s experiences 3) envisioning new possibilities 4) formulating concrete actions. The online training consists of a video you watch before the training and practicing facilitating in a Zoom-meeting. \nDialogue Skills\n \nIn addition\, we will be examining several skills that you can incorporate into your daily conversations with friends\, family\, or colleagues. The skills needed for  productive conversations involve committed listening and asking the ‘right’ questions. To practice these skills in-depth we will focus on the following: \n\nLearning the method of appreciative inquiry.\nWorking on the three essential skills for a dialogue: (1) committed listening\, (2) asking the right questions\, and (3) giving constructive feedback.\n\nNext step\nAfter this training session\, you can start practice facilitating a dialogue together with experienced people in the Dialogue House. You can practice running a table with a more experienced dialogue facilitator together\, or come and get further practice at one of our Dialogue House events (held the first Monday of each month at Maliebaan 45). \nCosts\nThe costs for the training are: 10€ for students/U-pas holders\, 50€ for non-students and 150€ for organizations. A peace dialogue offers views into more perspectives\, points of view\, leads to more insight and understanding and concrete personal action to bring peace closer. DESCRIPTION:Have you ever sat at a dialogue table with participants who had a different mother tongue to you?  \nUtrecht in Dialogue prides itself on welcoming people from different backgrounds and perspectives to the dialogue table. While a large contingent are Dutch native speakers\, many participants bring different mother tongues with them. Perhaps they also speak fluent Dutch\, perhaps they rely on English to communicate in The Netherlands\, or perhaps they are trying to learn Dutch. With Dutch tables and English tables available\, participants can use dialogue to practice their skills in either language. If they are a language-learner\, what does this individual goal mean for the dialogue\, for other participants and for the language-learner themself? Does it add a new richness to the dialogue? Does it make connection harder? Does it change the nature of the dialogue? DESCRIPTION:At the Dialogue Lab\, actively involved parties\, partners and volunteers of Utrecht in Dialogue make events together. Every third Tuesday evening of the month. We work in a blended format\, combining in person and online meetings. English speakers are also most welcome. Specify on the registration form whether you will be joining in person or virtually. Every third Tuesday evening of the month\, we work at Maliebaan45. Great if you bring your computer to zoom with those joining virtually. \nPlease note: this Dialogue Lab is online due to stricter corona measures. \nAfter the (online) workshop Organizing a Dialogue\, we work in the Dialogue Lab with experienced volunteers/stakeholders on organizing and communicating dialogue meetings in your organization\, neighborhood\, school\, sports club or district. Together we prepare (blended and online) (neighborhood) dialogues\, we put the events on the website\, we recruit participants via social media and discuss the follow-up of meetings. In the Dialogue Lab\, you can contribute ideas about meetings or series\, further increase results\, map out the impact and prepare special projects.
