If so\, we invite you to join us in the Zoom space 30 minutes before the start of the event. \nThe soul of Europe\nIn 1950\, the Schuman declaration brought the EU into being. \nRobert Schuman: “The European collaboration and integration shall not and cannot become an economic and technical enterprise: it needs a soul\, the knowledge of its historical roots and of its responsibilities\, in the past and in the future\, and a political willingness that serves that same ideal.” \nJacques Delors: “Europe needs a heart and a soul”. “If in the next ten years we haven’t managed to give a soul to Europe\, to give it spirituality and meaning\, the game will be up”.  \nWhat is the state of Europe’s soul now? And what about the inspiration and political will for European cooperation? Where do we get to glimpse its soul and which values do we share? Has the myth of Europe become a bureaucratic project\, far removed from ordinary citizens? How can Europe inspire and allure us once again? What makes it worth your while to commit to Europe? This way of conducting a conversation takes place in small groups of 6 to a maximum of 8 participants\, with a trained dialogue facilitator. DESCRIPTION:We can still take a walk in the neighborhood! Time to get out and about\, meet new neighbors and discover north-east Utrecht! In this light-hearted dialogue series Meet & Stroll\, you will meet different people from the neighborhood and discover new places as we walk together towards a new spring! \nFreedom and happiness\nIn the fifth edition of the dialogue series meet and walk\, we walk in the middle of spring with a dialogue about freedom and happiness. What does freedom mean to you? Does freedom make you happy or do you get choice stress from too much freedom? How free do you feel in your environment and in your neighborhood. How do you deal with freedom? How much freedom do you give others and how do you set your limits. Which freedoms do you consider most important? The introduction and preparation via Zoom takes place on 19th May. After that\, you can plan a walk at a time that suits you and your partner. \nRoutes to choose from\nA. And what would you like to know about the other person?\nYou agree to go for an in-person walk in the neighborhood with a neighbor. This stroll will take place on the following Saturday at 10:30 am. A dialogue contributes to mutual understanding\, connection and insight. \nSince the corona crisis\, we have been going into dialogue online so that everyone can participate at a safe distance.
