DESCRIPTION:Because of the Corona crisis\, the Dialogue House is going Online. That takes some getting used to\, but it is not difficult at all! When you sign up you will receive a link with which you can log in to an Online Zoom session. \nFancy a good conversation? Would you like to supervise an online dialogue? Want to meet other dialogue facilitators? Do you have an idea or plan that you would like to discuss with others or need help with? Would you like to practice with online coaching of a table or try out a theme? \nIn the online Dialogue House\, experienced and less experienced dialogue facilitators practice guiding online dialogues. Join in and sign up via the red button! \nNew rules of conduct\nWe now live in a time with different rules of conduct. Where shaking hands stood as the national standard of how we treat each other\, this is now prohibited and we must avoid social contact as much as possible: the public space is not yet locked down\, but much is closed. We are not allowed to hoard\, but you do want to have your necessities at home. We have to look at each other but now at a distance. Physical contact is no longer possible and this contact must shift to online. How do you deal with these new rules? Are you comfortable with that\, do you stay at home or do you keep getting together with people you are attached to? Are you looking for other ways to keep in touch and to see your neighbors? And how do you deal with people who deal with the new rules differently from you? What are you doing then? Do you start a conversation\, do you let it go\, do you speak to people? What have you experienced\, what is the outcome and how do you feel about it? DESCRIPTION:At the Alchemist Dialogue Lab actively involved parties\, partners and volunteers of Utrecht in Dialogue make events together. Every third Wednesday evening of the month from 7 pm. \nAfter the basic workshop Organizing Dialogue you can work with more experienced volunteers / stakeholders every month on organizing and communicating dialogue meetings in your organization\, neighborhood\, school\, sports club or living area. You learn with and from each other how to organize a (neighborhood) dialogue\, make flyers\, place events on the website and social media\, how to recruit participants\, etc. Your buddies and partners are also very welcome! \nProgram\nBecause of the measures relating to the coronavirus\, the DialogueLab of 18 March can be followed online. Get in touch with us! \n \nWhat does family mean to you? What role does it play in your life? And how are you dealing with the changing ways of contact in these times? Do you have to worry about your family\, or do you get support from them? On Thursday\, April 9th\, we will discuss this theme with each other through an online dialogue. \nFamily\nFamily is important to many people\, although for some\, it is a difficult part of life. What role does family play for you? Do you feel connected to them? Are there people who you grew up with\, who know you through-and-through\, and people who you still speak to often? Maybe you grew up in a tight-knit family\, or in another circumstance where there was little contact with family. For you\, is family a place where you belong? Or maybe you have little contact with them? In the situation around the Coronavirus\, much of our contact has to take place at a distance\, including contact with family\, which is changing as a result. This can lead to worries. For instance\, how do we deal with the elderly in our family in these times? How are you dealing with this? What concerns are present for you? Or are you getting support from contact with family in these times? This brings a lot of uncertainty about many aspects of our lives. \nBetween hope and fear\nThe Coronavirus brings uncertainty about our health\, work and education and the consequences in the long run. How do you deal with this uncertainty? What do the restrictions in daily life mean to you? Are you feeling down or do you see any bright light? Do you feel resistance\, fear\, pride\, love\, amazement\, energy\, trust or anger? Together we explore what this uncertain time does to you. And how would you like it to be. Liberation Day (Bevrijdingsdag) is a time to celebrate the victory of not remaining under occupation\, as many other European countries. Under the new circumstances\, COVID-19 came to the lives of everyone and ‘freedom’ is restricted more than ever before. Where do we go? How often? For which reason? Who do we meet and touch? These became questions between health and sickness\, life and death. At the same time\, other countries still haven’t managed to get ceasefire: still\, war is ravaging families and cities around the world. Also\, there are raising questions about the usage of personal data from governments and privacy concens are being raised even for the period after the pandemic. \nBetween those conflicted facts\, what do we define as freedom?
