DESCRIPTION:What effect has the corona crisis had on your ideas about the environment and sustainability? Share your experiences and listen to others! Live in the Kargadoor or online via Zoom. On the registration form you can let us know if you want to participate live or via Zoom. \nHow did the Corona pandemic affect our relationship with the environment? Can we keep a more sustainable environment after the crisis? Do you now consider flying less often? Perhaps even travelling less often and working more frequently from home? Do you now prefer travelling by car instead of taking the bus or train? \nHow did you manage your food consumption\, stocking and waste during the crisis? Have you tried to grow your vegetables and fruit at home? Have you discovered local organic markets? Have you considered doing groceries online? Did your energy consumption change after the lockdown? Are you consuming now more or less energy than before? How did you observe the air and water pollution in this period? Have you appreciated parks and nature more than before? \nThese and other questions will be the topic on 10 September. We’ll share our ideas about sustainability\, as well as our experiences and dreams about the future. In this dialogue\, we will focus on how the corona crisis brought the sustainability discussion forward. \nEmerging Stronger from the Crisis\nCorona crisis has suddenly changed many things in our lives; we had to continue our work or studies from home\, perhaps lost our jobs and weren’t allowed to see our family and friends. Since June\, our lives started adjusting to a ‘new normal’. How did you experience the crisis? What changed in your daily lives? Are your views and values changing somehow? Which of these changes do you wish to maintain moving forward\, and how can you make that happen? \nThis dialogue is part of the series Emerging Stronger from the Crisis >>> \nImportant notes\n\nThis event will start at 19:30 until 22:00.\nPhysical dialogues will take place in the Kargadoor. Online dialogues will be held via Zoom. On the registration form you can let us know if you want to participate live or via Zoom.\nDue to the social distancing policy\, the capacity of the Kargadoor is limited. If the participation exceeds the capacity of the rooms\, participants will be invited to join the online dialogues.\nAny possible changes in the social distancing policy that could affect the physical dialogues at the Kargadoor\, will be communicated in due time.\n\nWhat is a dialogue?\n\nA dialogue is a conversation in which free exchange of thoughts and ideas take place leading to new perspectives and insights. The theme of the Dutch PAX Peace Week 2020 is ‘Peace unites differences!’ Welcome to this online Peacedialogue!
