DESCRIPTION:Due to the Coronavirus outbreak\, we’re hosting our dialogues online for the next several weeks. This does take some getting used to\, but it is absolutely not difficult at all! Would you like to practice facilitating a table or try out a theme?  \n  \nIn the Dialogue House\, experienced dialogue facilitators\, beginners and enthusiasts practice guiding online dialogues\, difficult situations and new themes every first Wednesday evening of the month. DESCRIPTION:On Thursday the 12th of March from 19.00 to 21.00 hours we will have a meeting at Bosshardt Zuilen about ‘Tasty and healthy food’. What do you like to eat? Do you choose an apple or an apple pie? Would you like a cup of tea or a glass of cola? And where does that preference come from? Are you satisfied with what you eat or do you want to change something? \nPrior to the dialogue you can participate in a communal meal. This costs € 2\,- . Are they your childhood habits or religious rules? Do you have a food allergy? Do you find it important to make healthy choices or do you opt for convenience? We’re going to explore this together. In a dialogue you tell about your own experiences and listen to the stories of others. You share dreams of the future and what you can do to bring it closer. The conversations will take place at dialogue tables of 6 to 8 people under the guidance of dialogue facilitators trained by Utrecht in Dialogue. Everyone will be addressed\, heard and is welcome. \nWhat is a dialogue?\nIn a dialogue\, people talk and listen to each other about what matters. We listen attentively to each other’s personal experiences and try to understand each other. We do this in small groups with a trained dialogue facilitator. By talking and listening to other people’s stories we learn with each other and we move forward! \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The Kargadoor dialogue goes online for the first time because of the Corona crisis. Going online in a dialogue takes some getting used to\, but it is not difficult at all! How do you experience your body\, which taboos play a role and where do they come from? Do we feel comfortable and safe to talk about it? Share your experiences\, desires\, insights and actions in this first online dialogue. \nMe and my Body\nFrom the moment we came into the world\, we started getting clues and rules around our bodies and it’s interaction with the public sphere. Where exposure is permitted and where it is not\, which dress codes are expected from different locations\, which norms and traditions exist around cloths on specific occasions\, but also ideas of what we can and cannot wear based on our sex and appearence. \nEven though equal representation of bodies\, body positivity\, and inclusion of different abilities and disabilities are being in the center of the public discussion more than ever before\, how much do we judge our bodies and how much do others still shame them? What kind of taboos exist around them and what role media play forming the ideas around our bodies?
